Euthanasia Policy:

The veterinarians at  Animal Care Hospital perform euthanasia only for the purpose of “Relieving Animal Suffering.” Euthanasia will not be performed on healthy animals nor for the convenience of irresponsible owners.

Prescription Policy:

Prescription drugs, such as antibiotics, anesthetics, and anti-inflammatories, are drugs which “Federal law restricts to the use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.” FDA controls their use because they have the potential to cause harm if used inappropriately. State law further restricts the FDA definition by allowing veterinarians to prescribe drugs only to patients in which a Client-Patient-Veterinarian relationship has been established. This means that it is illegal for a veterinarian to prescribe a drug to an animal unless he/she has first examined the animal and established a diagnosis.
