Many different products are
available for flea and tick control.
Fleas
are small, brown or black, wingless insects with flattened
bodies. Several types of fleas infest the hair coat of
animals, and some occasionally feed on people. These blood
sucking insects cause considerable irritation and distress to
infested pets. Severe infestations may lead to anemia from
blood loss.
Ticks
are blood sucking parasites that can infest most animals and
sometimes people. Ticks attach to the skin and feed on the
animal's blood. Tick bites may become infected, and some
ticks produce a toxin that can cause paralysis and even death.
Ticks also spread serious diseases of animals and people, such
as Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Lyme disease.

fleas and ticks on dogs, kills fleas fast, kills fleas eggs and
larvae and prevents all stages of fleas from developing.
Kills all stages of ticks including the one that can transmit
Lyme disease. Promeris is fast acting, long lasting, and
waterproof. May be applied on dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age or
older and over 11 pounds.
Severe infestation of
fleas/ticks causes blood loss which leads to anemia and death if
not treated.
