Senior Wellness Program
Similar to humans, pets are living
longer. Our goal is to provide them the happiest and healthiest
lives possible. Food for thought is that 2/3's of health problems
occur within the pet's last 1/3 of life. The senior wellness
program offers early detection of disease which allows proper
intervention and treatment for your animal companion. Periodontal
disease affects 85% of animals over four years of age and can lead
to dental disease, tooth loss and dangerous bacteria infecting the
pet's kidney, liver and heart. Most pets need a professional
cleaning and polishing once a year to avoid problems. We recommend
the Senior Wellness Program yearly for our patients over seven years
of age.
